The Elections Department prepares, administers, conducts and tallies in a correct, uniform and impartial manner, Federal, State and County elections. The Department also provides election services and assistance to cities, towns, school districts and special districts of Larimer County. The Department is the registry and disseminating center for candidate campaign financing, voting information and voter registration.
Our web site meets the accessibility guidelines set by the World Wide Web Consortium and is usable by persons with disabilities, including speech synthesizer and/or braille displays. The Elections department also offers other options to those who need assistance on Election Day.

Permanent Mail-In Ballots - All voters in Colorado may vote by permanent mail-in ballot (formerly called "absentee ballot"). The Elections Department will automatically send a mail-in ballot to all permanent mail-in voters for all elections conducted by the county. To become a permanent mail-in voter, complete and sign the Mail-In Ballot Application. Be sure to check the box next to "Yes, I want to be a permanent mail-in voter and automatically receive a mail-in ballot for all applicable elections."
