Online Real Property Protest

Your property was valued as it existed on January 1, 2015. The appraisal data used to establish real property value in Larimer County was from the 60-month period ending on June 30, 2014. The value is based on comparable sales of properties during that period. All property in Colorado is revalued every odd-numbered year.

For 2015, all real property owners were sent a postcard notice with updated values and have the option to protest online. If you do not have the Notice of Value you may complete and mail a 2015 Protest Form to our office no later than June 1, 2015. The online protest option is only available using the access key printed on the postcard mailed to the owner of record on May 1st. Our online protest system will not be available after 11:59 p.m. on June 1, 2015. For more information see our Reappraisal Update.

Help! How do I protest online? (PDF document of instructions that can be opened and viewed in a separate window to reference while you complete the online protest)

The tax notice you receive next January will be based on this value.

If you are not protesting the value or classification of the property but would like to make corrections to the property information please send an email with your account information so the Assessor staff can review any requested changes.
