Larimer County stormwater design standards update
The Larimer County Engineering Department is updating the county’s Stormwater Design Standards. The current standards were adopted in 2005 and have not been updated since that time. The standards will be updated to meet industry standards in accordance with the current volumes of the Mile High Flood District Manual.
The standards address the design of stormwater facilities including culverts, storm sewers, open channels, bridges, and detention ponds, and provide information regarding the design submittals required for permitting and construction.
A public meeting was held on May 18th to provide a brief overview of the updated standards, obtain feedback, and answer questions. Links are provided below to the draft Stormwater Standards (clean and track changes versions) along with a summary of public comments received.
