This CD contains documentation of fire behavior and weather for the Bobcat Gulch Fire (CO-ARF-23777) for the period from June 12 through June 19, 2000. The Bobcat Gulch Fire started
on June 12. The initial attack organization transitioned to a Type 3 organization (Don Griffith, IC) the first morning, and additional resources ordered. A Type 1 Incident Management Team (Joe Carvelho, IC) assumed command of the incident at 1800h on June 13, 2000. The fire was declared controlled on June 19, 2000.

Notes on file formats
- To view PDF files, you need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader 3.0 or higher installed on your computer. If you do not already have it installed, you can install version 4 via the installation file in the \Software directory on this CD, ar40eng.exe. This version works under Windows 95, 98, and NT4. For computer systems other than PC/Windows, you can download the appropriate version of Adobe Acrobat Reader from Adobe's web site at www.adobe.com.
- JPG files (photos) can be viewed with most current graphics or image viewing software, as well as most current web browsers. If your software does not allow browsing of "thumbnail" images, there is a PDF file in each daily photo folder that provides contact sheets of the photos in that folder.
- ArcView shape files and Arc/Info GIS data can be viewed using ESRI's ArcExplorer. Version 2 works under Windows 98, NT4, and 2000; version 2 will not work under Windows 95. If you are running Windows 95, install Version 1. The installation file for each version of ArcExplorer is in the \Software folder. Further information about ArcExplorer can be obtained from ESRI's web site at
