The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources wishes to honor the service commitment that Scout groups make every year. In acknowledgement of Operation Osprey and the 100th birthday of the Boy Scouts of America, the department has identified conservation oriented projects that local Scout groups can plug into.
Here is a list of available projects:
In order to apply for one of our Operation Osprey projects, the Department of Natural Resources requires that any Scout group interested fill out our Special Event Application. Please provide as much detail as possible.
**Operation Osprey Projects are exempt from special event fees**
**Applications must be submitted a minimum of 45 days before the project date**
Access the Operation Osprey manual for more information about the program. Pages 11-12 have contact information for other participating local agencies.
Please keep in mind that there are a limited number of projects available. They will work on a first come first serve basis.
All questions regarding Operation Osprey projects should be directed to CJ Cullins - Volunteer Program Coordinator - ccullins@larimer.org - (970) 679-4552.
