Park Situation

2010 Annual Permits are available for purchase.

 

The South Bay and Inlet Bay boat ramps are available for use 7days a week from 6am to 10pm. The Satanka Boat ramp will be open as well, Wednesday through Sunday from 6am to 10pm.

PLEASE NOTE: THE SATANKA BOAT RAMP WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY's and Tuesday's (EXCLUDING ANY HOLIDAYS) THROUGHOUT THE 2010 SEASON.

The swimbeach in South Bay is now open for use.  Please use caution at the swim beach.  Underwater hazards may exist.

Fishing Conditions

 

As a reminder, all walleye must be over 18 inches to keep, and you can keep only one walleye over 21 inches.  All smallmouth bass must be 12 inches or more.

Water Level & Boat Ramp

Beginning April 15, 2009, in order to comply with the State of Colorado Aquatic Nuisance Species Regulations, all vessels will be inspected prior to launch.

The reservoir's water levels are fluctuating.  The current surface water temperature is approximately 65 degrees Fahrenheit.

 


Water Elevation

Maximum water elevation = 5,430  ft. above sea level.
Current water elevation = 5404 ft. feet above sea level.

All electrical campsites and cabins in South Bay and Inlet Bay are available on our reservation system - (800)397-7795 or www.larimercamping.com.   


Wildlife

This time of year we have many deer, foxes, and coyotes in the area.  Please use caution while driving.
