Larimer County Department of Natural Resources is pleased to announce an expansion in our role with the Estes Valley Recreation District! This partnership will now include the management of the Estes Park Campgrounds at Mary's Lake and East Portal (formerly known as the Estes Park Campground). We are excited to incorporate these campgrounds into our already expansive campground inventory and are looking forward to the new recreational opportunities these campgrounds will offer the visiting public.

These campgrounds provide over 200 campsites with amenities ranging from basic tent sites to full RV hookups including water, electric and sewer. Reservations for campsites are available now.

The Estes Park Campgrounds will continue to offer convenient access to the various recreation opportunities in and around the Estes Park area. The Campground at Mary's Lake sits on approximately 50 acres of land and offers over 140 campsites, two bath houses and a small swimming pool. The easy access to Estes Park makes this a prime camping location. The campground is also adjacent to a stocked lake with numerous fishing opportunities.

The East Portal Campground is situated on a 75 acre site which borders Rocky Mountain National Park. This quiet setting offers over 60 campsites tucked into the trees. These campsites offer the perfect "jumping off point" for your family to begin exploring all the recreational opportunities in and around the National Park.
