Larimer County Natural Resources operates campgrounds at five county parks. Reservations can be made online for April-October. November-March is first-come, first-served. See campgrounds listed below.

Big Thompson Campground

Located on the north end of Carter Lake, these campgrounds can be reserved online.

Carter Knolls Campground

Located on the east side of Carter Lake, these campgrounds can be reserved online.

Eagle Campground

Located on the north end of Carter Lake, these campgrounds can be reserved online.

South Shore Campground

Located on the south end of Carter Lake, these campgrounds can be reserved online.

Located on the northwest side of Flatiron Reservoir, these campgrounds can be reserved online.

Hermit Park Open Space

HERMIT PARK OPEN SPACE DOES NOT HAVE WATER RECREATION ON-SITE. LAKE ESTES IS 3 MILES AWAY.

Hermit's Hollow Campground (campground 1)

28 non-electric campsites can be reserved online.

Bobcat Campground (campground 2)

39 non-electric campsites can be reserved online.

Kruger Campground (campground 3)

8 non-electric campsites can be reserved online.

Granite Gulch Campground (campground 4)

Group camping area - max 30 people - can be reserved online.

Camper Cabins

15 camper cabins - can be reserved online.

South Bay Campground
