LOVELAND, Colo. – Construction is taking place on County Road 32E, resulting in a temporary closure to the trailhead for River Bluffs Open Space starting Friday, July 21.

River Bluffs Open Space is located between Fort Collins and Windsor and features a section of the Poudre River Trail. The trail through the open space will remain open during construction, but access to the trailhead will close starting at the bridge over the Cache la Poudre River. River access will also be closed during construction.

The trailhead for River Bluffs is expected to reopen in mid-September. The only road access to the trailhead is off of County Road 32E, so the trailhead will reopen once road access to it is restored.

For questions or more information, please contact Steve Gibson, Red Mountain District Manager, at (970) 498-5621 or sgibson@larimer.org.
