Disposal Rate Increase

The Board of County Commissioners approved a rate increase for the disposal of rubble materials at the Larimer County Solid Waste Department Landfill. 

The new rate for disposal of rubble, asphalt, asphalt shingles, tree trunks, concrete, dirt and sludge will be $8.65 per cubic yard, a $2.00 per cubic yard increase from 2013 rates. The new state surcharge will result in a total cost of $8.95 per cubic yard for disposal of the above listed items.
The new rates will go into effect on January 1, 2014. The Colorado state surcharges will also increase two cents per cubic yard for all waste types.
