Larimer Flood 2013 - New Transportation Bulletin - Options underway for repairs to Big Thompson bridges

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Fort Collins, Colorado – Larimer County’s Engineering Department has released its weekly Larimer County Flood 2013 Transportation Bulletin showing progress to date on the repair and rebuilding of flood damaged road corridors countywide.
· A team of inspectors and engineers has deployed to the accessible areas in the Big Thompson Canyon to identify options for emergency repairs to public bridges from US 34 to subdivisions in the Canyon.
· Bridge work on CR 15 south of Berthoud is almost complete.
· Progress continues on Devil’s Gulch Road (CR 43) towards Glen Haven and CR 47 towards Big Elk Meadows.
· Restoration of access for the remaining properties in Pinewood Springs is expected next week.
