Suspect Exiting Bank

Larimer County Sheriff's Office investigators are seeking the public's help to try and identify the suspect that was involved in the robbery of the Points West Community Bank located at 8100 South 6th Street in Wellington yesterday. Several surveillance photos are being released to help identify the man.

The suspect is now described as an approximately 40-year-old white male, about 6'1" tall with light brown hair, scruffy facial hair with a moustache and a goatee, wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses and carrying a red backpack.
The suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. No weapons were seen. The suspect then left the bank with an unknown amount of cash and exited the area on foot. No one was injured.
After consulting with the FBI, investigators do not believe this bank robbery is associated with the previous robberies in Fort Collins and the Denver area.
Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is asked to call Larimer County Sheriff’s Office at 970-416-1985 or Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868 where you will remain anonymous and possibly be eligible for a cash reward.
