Fort Collins drowning June 18, 2013

On June 18, 2013 a person was found in a detention pond in the 4000 block of Seneca, Fort Collins, Colorado. 

The teenaged male was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival at 11:21 am.

The decedent has been identified as Matthew Marcus Gonzales, age 15 of Fort Collins, Colorado. 

An autopsy was performed today, June 19, 2013 by James A. Wilkerson, IV, MD.

The manner of death is determined to be Accident

The cause of death is asphyxia by drowning, probable seizure
