Park situation

River Bluffs Open Space is OPEN.  River access downstream of the trailhead parking lot to Hwy 392 is CLOSED due to nesting raptors.

Get real-time, official conditions and closure information for all trails managed by Larimer County Natural Resources at www.NoCoTrailReport.org.  Please be prepared for snowpacked and/or icy conditions.

Wildlife
Mule deer, white-tailed deer, fox and coyotes can all be seen wandering through this area. There is a prairie dog colony on the east side of the open space. The prairie dogs are a consistent food source for the raptors including the local bald eagles.
