August 10, 2010 Primary Election

*Please note your specific ballot will not contain all of the races shown on the following sample ballots.

MAIL BALLOT ELECTION: The Primary Election will be a mail ballot election conducted by the Larimer County Clerk & Recorder's Office. Ballots will be mailed to all active registered voters during the week of July 19, 2010.

MAIL-IN BALLOT APPLICATION: If you need your ballot mailed to an address other than your registered address, you must complete a Mail-In Ballot application. Once you have completed the form, you may mail, fax, or email it to:

Postage required to return voted ballot by mail:

Return envelope containing only the voted ballot inside the secrecy envelope, 44 cents. If any other items are included, the Post Office must weigh to determine correct postage.

Voter Registration:

Anyone eligible to vote in the Primary Election who is not already registered must register no later than July 12, 2010. Visit our registration page for more information on how to change your address or party affiliation.

Designated Drop Off Sites:

Ballots must be RECEIVED at the Larimer County Elections office and/or Designated Drop-off/Service Center locations by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day in order for your vote(s) to be counted. Ballots received after 7:00 p.m. on Election Day will not be counted. Postmarks do not count as a received date.

Replacement Ballots:

If you make a mistake, damage or lose your ballot, you may obtain a replacement ballot, one at a time, not to exceed three ballots in all. You may request a Replacement Ballot by calling 970-498-7820 during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
