Highlights:
- The majority of the 2007 Health District Survey respondents reported experiencing depression and other mental health problems, with the percentage of reported depression decreasing slightly from 60% in 2001, to 58% in 2004. (Mental Health Status)
- Suicide was the 9th overall leading cause of death in Larimer County in 2008. In comparing suicides by age group, the 5-year average suicide rate in Larimer County from 2004 to 2008 was less than the state average with the exception of those in the 55-64 age group and those over the age of 75.
