Larimer County Offices, Courts, District Attorney, Landfill, Household Hazardous Waste, and Recycle Center are all closed on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2015.
County Offices are also closed on Friday, November 27 while the Courts, District Attorney, Landfill, Household Hazardous Waste, and Recycle Center are open. Critical services at Larimer County will not be disrupted by this closure.

§ Queens – Kodi reported that they attended the Miss Rodeo Colorado competition. There will be four applicants trying out for the 2012 Larimer County Fair Lady In Waiting. Upcoming events they will be attending: Cheyenne Frontier Days, JAX Cowboy Day, Fair AG BBQ, Rodeo and Parade. Kodi thanked all for the opportunity to serve as the Fair Queen.

§ Pancake Breakfast –Gary Marison passed out the instructions for members duties.
§ Parade – Pat Young asked that everyone meet at 7:30 am. He made signs for the staging areas. Need to arrange Pederson truck drivers. Make sure to get radios and golf carts back to Ranch after parade. Reminded everyone to wear their blue Fair Board shirts.
§ Junior Livestock – Greg Melick reported on parade of Champions. Justin to drive Ranch tractor and trailer. Bill Markham announcing the event during the rodeo.
§ Tough Enough to Wear Pink –Alan Rankin reported Golf tournament had 132 players participate and raised $4500. Home state Bank held a “jeans day” fund raiser and brought in $400..
§ Guest Services –Frank Marion and Francis LaBarbera thanked members that helped with volunteer training. They had 33 people attend. 75 volunteers signed up to date. Ovations donating food and drinks for volunteers. They handed out a schedule to members with their times and locations.
E xtension: Laurel Kubin reported that all animal welfare issues be directed to Dr. Shannon Fancher.
Rodeo: Steve Humann reminded members to pick up their complimentary rodeo tickets at the BEC box office. Invited all to the BEC restaurant 5:30 – 7:00 prior to each rodeo to visit with sponsors. Also attend on Monday and Tuesday night patio sponsor meet and greet between 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
Ranch Update: Abby Powell
§ Entertainment–Bob Herrfeldt reported that a new 3 year contract has been sign with Carnival American.
§ Building & Grounds – Gnarly Barley having great pre sales. The VIP tent times are sold out. Offering prime spaces to vendors at higher fee. These spaces are located near the main events. Passed out invitations to the Ag BBQ to be held Friday night 5-7.
§ Arena Activities – Passed around both the animal and camper check-in signup sheets.
§ Marketing – Ryan Young reported that the bill boards are up. Radio and newspaper ads running. Live remotes during events and also having a survey available for people to fill out. Passed out posters for distribution. Also ad in Val Paks are out.
Sponsorship –Katie reported 2011 money exceeded the budget.
Ovations – Phil Hossler reported volunteer vouchers done and all food vendors contracts in.
Other/New Business: Tractor poster is being distributed.
