Introduction of Members and Guests:

Those in attendance introduced themselves.


Discussion Items:

2014 Workplan.  Each year the Advisory Board prepares a workplan, which appears as a section to the ESAB annual report.  Members reviewed their previous plan, and decided on modifications for 2014. The emphasis was on adding specific review items that are anticipated for the upcoming year.  Those items include a review of risks associated with adult mosquito spraying for West Nile Virus, the anticipated Environmental Impact Statement for the NISP water project, and proposed State air emission rules for oil and gas development.  Doug Ryan will prepare the plan for inclusion in the upcoming 2013 Annual Report. 


Environmental Stewardship Awards.   The Environmental Stewardship Awards ceremony was held on Monday, December 9.  Doug Ryan provided a brief update and showed photographs from the event.  More information is available at


Flood Response Video.  A video developed by the County regarding recovery response to the September 2013 flood was shown.  The video is available at


EAB Issue Index:

Doug Ryan will update the Issue Index related to the topics discussed at the meeting.


January Meeting Agenda:

The agenda will depend on the ability to schedule review topics under consideration.
