MINUTES OF THE LARIMER COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

(January 26, 2010)

 

The regular meeting of the Larimer County Board of Adjustment was held in the County Board Hearing Room in the Larimer County Courthouse, Fort Collins, Colorado at 7:00 p.m., January 26, 2010 at which time the following business was transacted.

 

Board Members Present: Greg Christensen, Peter Bohling, Eric Berglund, Alan Cram, and Evelyn King

 

Staff Present: Toby Stauffer, Samantha Mott, and Assistant County Attorney Bill Ressue

 

 

Minutes: Greg Christensen moved and Peter Bohling seconded the Motion to approve the November 24, 2009 Minutes of the Larimer County Board of Adjustment as presented. Board members Greg Christensen, Peter Bohling, Eric Berglund, Alan Cram and Evelyn King voted in favor of the Motion. The Minutes were unanimously approved.

 

Findings and Resolutions: Greg Christensen moved and Peter Bohling seconded the Motion to approve the Findings and Resolution for the Aden Setback Variance (#09-BOA0768). Board members Greg Christensen, Peter Bohling, Eric Berglund, Alan Cram and Evelyn King voted in favor of the Motion.

Owners: Terry and Patsy Hannah

Applicants: Terry and Patsy Hannah

Request: The Application of Terry and Patsy Hannah, requesting a variance was presented to the Board. The Application requested a setback variance to allow an existing garage to be located 11.65 feet from the northeast property line rather than the required minimum of 25 feet in the R-Residential zone.

 

Action: Evelyn King moved and Alan Cram seconded the Motion to approve the Application with conditions. Board members Greg Christensen, Peter Bohling, Eric Berglund, Alan Cram and Evelyn King voted in favor of the Motion. The Application was approved with conditions.

Owners: Jim and Linda Petrie

Applicants: Jim and Linda Petrie

Request: The Application of Jim and Linda Petrie, requesting a variance was presented to the Board. The Application requested a setback variance to allow a new shed to be 3 6 from the right-of-way line of Sunlight Circle / east property line rather than the required minimum of 45 feet in the E-Estate zone.

 

Action: Evelyn King moved and Alan Cram seconded the Motion to approve the Application with conditions. Board members Greg Christensen, Peter Bohling, Eric Berglund, Alan Cram and Evelyn King voted in favor of the Motion. The Application was approved with conditions.

 

 

Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
