Meeting Minutes: April 2010 meeting minutes adopted as written (Ed Stoner, motion to approve, Craig Hults, 2nd, approved unanimously).
Committee Member Items:
Susanne Status of Poudre Trail project: Project proceeding as planned, bridge to be upgraded which includes bike lane.
Pope special review request for cease and desist, to be reviewed on August 9, 2010 at 3pm to review conditions.
Reservoir projects Information shared regarding Greeley flooding and relationship to building reservoir.
Paul R. Gary Delahoy, Laporte resident, interested in kayak issues in relation to his property.
Greeley Pipeline is tied up in court right now.
Mandy Relayed communication received by a woman met on bike trail that suggested signs to indicate distances to Laporte resources such as stores and the like near Lions Park and Overland Trail. Will contact Engineering Department to start.

Mandy Kotzman gaveproposed Kayak Park presentation that will be given to Open Lands Department.Details regarding a proposed kayak park on Poudre River in the Lions Park area. Water levels are adequate for multiple drops. Proposal will require coordination with Division of Wildlife and take into account multiple uses and improve habitat for fish and wildlife. Initial planning and design ideas are being formulated. Appears to be large support for the idea thus far. Surrounding landowners are being contacted for support. Volunteers and donor lists being created.Memo of LAPAC support to be drafted.
